THIS LIFE
July – September 2022
Many often think of physical life as the means to do all things within their power for material benefits, to gain more money for which they work day and night in order to buy and own things that will make them happy. As they gather all that they can, they later find out that those things are sometimes the reason for sorrow. In other words, the more they engage themselves in the material world, the more they are lost.
In sharp contrast to the understanding of their meaning to physical life, it is all about knowing, trusting, and serving God. This life offers us the opportunity to invest in eternity. Thankfully, God, the Giver of Physical Life does not give it in lump sum but in partial allotment. As we read God’s Word, we learn what God wants us to do. It is obedience that moves that knowledge from our heads to our hands in serving others and serving God. This is what I suppose Physical Life is all about.
We are grateful to God for you, our generous donor for remaining an integral part of this Kingdom Investment through the Ministry of AWANA Liberia. Though little, but we are not sure how these gains would have been made without your thoughtful support. You are highly appreciated.

PRAISE
For the ability and safety to conduct the above activities;
For the few denominational leaders who are beginning to catch the vision for AWANA for their church group;
For the continued peace amidst the harsh economy and the recent shortage and skyrocketed price of our nation’s staple (rice); and
For travel safety in the wake of a recent near major motor collision with little impact on the car without any bodily harm.
PRAY
For churches that signed on at the ZimZam Conference to register and recruit additional churches for their leadership training;
For our quest for additional partnership to yield the desired result;
For wisdom as we seek out available volunteers to help with the work of ministry;
For remedy to the pain I continue to experience with the rheumatoid arthritis;
For means to support one more missionary to help with the growing ministry; and
For the replacement of our projector that is currently inoperative.
